Athlete of the Week: On The Run

1130 News Radio Vancouver Interview  Nov 26th, 2025

I had the privilege of doing an impromptu interview with News 1130 am for their  Athlete of the Week.  Was fantastic to speak with such an amazing News personality (Marcus Fitzgerald) and feel grateful to continue having places to speak.  I am looking forward to the next.

Ironman 70.3 World Championships: Marbella, Spain
November 8, 2025

It happened.  I competed and completed the Ironman 70.3 World Championships on November 8, 2025.  I honestly did not know the body was capable of a feat that large.  I knew it would be a challenge, but this was beyond comprehension.  I am forever grateful I was strong enough to compete next to the World's best.  I am forever changed by the degree of endurance it took to cross that finish line.  I am brought to tears when I think of the degree of support shown from around the world, oh the things we can do when we believe in one another.  It's radical.  Let's keep going.

I was recently asked to participate in an Athlete photoshoot.  So at 7am we got to the beach in the dark and I ran into the sea as the sun rose.  Here's a glimpse of the capture.  If you would like to further discuss how I can speak for an event you are holding, be apart of your clothing brand/team, please reach out.   I want to grow my impact.

Most Recent Race & Podium Win: Cultus Lake Sprint Triathlon
September 14, 2025

In September I did the Cultus Lake Triathlon and got my first podium, first in my age group! I nearly fell over when I saw the stats. I just was NOT expecting it! I was coming out of a season of feeling low for a few weeks and I woke up that morning and almost decided to stay in bed. But, I got myself to the race (and was not friendly about it) and I knew what to do! Coach had said I could go hard on short races. So I did. I didn't care who I swam through, how high my heart rate was on the bike, I just went. And it paid off.

Thankful that this race catapulted me into the grace I need to have to sustain this last leg of training before Worlds in Spain. Which means I will have also sustained 13 months of consistent training with 4 days off in a row at the most; a couple of times, only knowing in spring of 2025 that I'd be gifted a spot in Worlds.

One month from now I will be getting over jet leg in Spain, preparing for race day.

TRIATHLON BC ARTICLE
August 26, 2025

Recently had the privilege of being interviewed and showcased by Triathlon BC.

I have so much gratitude to participate in these moments, because they invite the triathlon world to grow; by having conversations about our journeys and getting curious together about how we could do more together in the future.
